The lifeblood of any church or ministry is the energy running through it. Raw and unfiltered energy, if unleashed, will propel your people and organization forward like nothing else.

Energy is the single most significant propellant for progress.

In a recent conversation with Pete Wilson of Crosspoint Community Church, he made a great point about how important it has been for them to just “get out of God’s way.” I couldn’t agree more.

The results can be exponential for those who can get comfortable with this approach.

Where the Holy Spirit of God is at work there is an amazing amount of unbridled energy that will carry you even if your church or ministry is laced with faulty strategies and tactical mistakes.

Conversely, even the best laid plans and strategies, lacking divine and vibrant energy, will fall flat and potentially fail miserably.

I know this approach feels risky because you’re giving up control.

And that’s precisely the point.
