Tooday at MinistryCOM here in Nashville, Dawn Nicole Baldwin, founder of AspireOne will be sharing her insights into branding for ministry communications in her workshop Branding 101: Reintroducing Your Church to the Community. Here are a few interesting tidbits from her workshop:

In a nutshell can you tell why branding should be important to ministry leaders?

Branding is often mistaken for an advertising campaign, logo or website when it’s actually a promise an organization is making of what an audience can expect. This is especially important when ministries are trying to reach unchurched or de-churched people who may have misperceptions of what church is all about or denominational baggage. At its core, a strong brand communicates a story that accurately reflects the culture and unique personality of an organization.
